This robin sugar spoon is made by William Sturt from the finest lead-free Fine Pewter and is approximately 12.5 cm long. It comes in a beautiful William Sturt box with "Handmade in Fine Pewter" engraved on the lid and makes an ideal gift for a tenth (tin) wedding gift. Every item we sell is handcrafted by William in his converted barn, occasionally helped but mostly hindered by his lurchers. We use exclusively eco-friendly Britannia Pewter which is 92% tin, 6% antinomy and 2% copper and has been the premium pewter mix since 1769 when it was discovered by James Vickers. It is of course lead and nickel free, food friendly and hypo allergenic. Many of our pieces make wonderful wedding or 10th (tin) wedding anniversary gifts and you have the reassurance that we guarantee them for life. Although our highly polished pewter looks like silver, it doesnât tarnish like silver and if it dulls, it can be cleaned with soapy water and dried with a soft cloth. When William makes a new piece, he first carves a master in wax then builds a silicone mould. Once a cavity has formed around the original piece, the hard part begins. Tiny ducts are cut into the mould to allow moulten pewter to flow into each cavity, and air to escape during casting. The correct placement of these ducts is crucial. Once William is happy with a mould he will spend an hour or two testing and adjusting it, then he start casting and the pieces produced are left to cool then cleaned up by hand to remove any roughness from the casting. The next step is to polish, dry and inspect each piece; box it and send it off to its lucky new owner.

The OMICS International has the reputation for quick reviewing and publishing original medical articles. From my personal experience, most of our original medical articles would be published within 3 weeks. Moreover, the editorial boards of most the OMICS International journals have many dedicated and reputed scientists as editorial members. Thus, I am grateful for their assistance and currently review work of other scientists.

I have served as an editor for Journal of Nanomedicine & Biotherapeutic Discovery for two years. The journal has an unique aspect covering Nanomedicine and Biotherpeutic discovery, which many journals in the area of Nanomedicine cannot provide at the same time. The publishing process was relatively smooth and quick. The journal is contionously publishing good review and research papers.
